per the obit Helen Louise Wanek was born 3/18/1946 and passed away 4/25/2018 in Kennesaw Georgia following a battle with lung cancer, She was born in Saginaw and attended St, Peterand Paul and Arthur Hill High Schools. She worked at Eaton Manufacturing and Meijer. Helen joined her children in Atlanta and became a member of the St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. She retired from Publix to help raise her grandchildren. Helen is survived by her son David, his wife Colleen, their children Robert and Sutton, her daughter Susan and her children Gabriel, Andrew, Cassandra and Elena. She is also survived by her siblings Beth Roberts, Mark Zimmerman,Joe Zimmerman and Gino Bartolini. She was preceded in death by her brother Carl Zimmerman and sister Mary Jo Curran. She loved gardening, playing Canasta and watching true crime TV. Helen touched everyone she knew with her humor, kindness and her selflessness. Her courage and strength during her illness were inspiring to all who knew her.
