Robert William Engels born Jan.20,1946, passed away Feb. 26. 2017 in Foley, Alabama. He was a U,S air force veteran. He worked for the State of Michigan for social servicesand after retirement went on to work for Maximus managing health care enrollment plans for the stateof Michigan.Active member of the Lions Club of Lansing and Eve's House.
He was an avid golfer and spent winter months in the panhandle of Florida golfing with his brother Harry. He was a great father to his wife's daughter Liz and was a basketball coach at her gradeschool. He was predeceased by his brother Herbert. He was also predeceased by his former wife and mother to his only daughter Darlene VanPatten.
He is survived by his wife Harriet Greenstone and her daughter ad son-in-law. He very good with the young children and loved being called "Papa Bob"
