per Mark's obit: Donald (Mark) Richter passed away at home August 25, 2012 after a 3 1/2 year battle with brain cancer. After graduation he obtained an electrical engineering degree from Purdue University and retired from Delphi after 34 years. in 2003 he moved to Texas. Mark was an avid sports enthusiast and active in the Can-America Games since 1985. He married Jance Hummel in 1975 and she survives him along with 4 children Brent, Brian, Matthew and Katie and six grandchildren. Memorial service was held in Coppell, Tx. Sept. 14, 2012.
Mark was a really good guy. He was a great athlete and i really enjoyed playing on the football team and wrestling team with him. I am sorry to hear he struggled with brain cancer. You are fondly remembered, Mark.
I didn't know mark had died and actually made sitting in the back of chemistry class with him as a favorite memory. So very sad. He was a dear, kind young man.
