Jack passed away October 6.2019after a brave battle with cancer. He was born in Oak Park, Illinois. moving to Saginaw in 1953 and graduating from AHHS in 1964 then attending Western University for his bachelors degree and Wayne State for his masters degree. He taught typing and business Ed.in Dearborn Heights, later selling insurance and furniture then becoming a sucessful financial advisor. The cancer diagnosis came as a surprise 1 year ago.He leaves the love of his life Eleanor (Elie} Medina whom he met in 1997. Also his children Ebony (john) Michelini, his 2 sons Richard and Jack Gerwin!!!,Elie's 2daughters and his siblings Echo(,David)Kabobel, Allen ,Kirk,Wendy,Paul, and Erica.
