I "horned in" on the carpool because Janice and I were an "item"; we still are 50 plus years later. Tom would only slow down to let me out, luckily I was agile enough to cope. We reconnected when our kids were young, He was a great dad, great husband,had a great marriage. His goal was to retire at 50 and he missed it by 3 days. It was fortunate since he left us way too early. He had his years on the lake up in Lupton. The end of his life was difficult and we spent time together talking about the Lord. He asked me to do him a favor and of course I said yes. He wanted me to conduct his service and promise to tell them about Jesus. I miss him and his best friend Bill Ten Eyck but I am assured that I'll see both of them again
