Doug and I went to school together from kindergarten through graduation. He was the first of many lost to the effects of PSTD, a result of his service in the Vietnam Conflict, and a syndrom not even recognized by the medical community of its day. Gone too soon.
Doug, we thank you for your service to our country. I know you proudly served in the U.S. Army and we regret losing you so young to a horrible disease. We hope you are resting in peace as you were a wonderful person.
