In June 1974, the AHHS class of '64 lost one of its brightest stars. Lucy---serving in her medical residency, I believe---lost her life in a small aircraft accident. I remember her as a good friend, a very smart student, and a person with enormous promise. And to this day I am sorry not to have her company in the journey through our adult lives.
