Married Rich Akright--the guy that threw a cherry bomb in the boys bathroom toilet!-- 2 sons from him. I should have known the marriage would also blow up! Then got mixed up with a live-in and had a daughter. Years later I married a guy who could never find a decent job--after 10 yrs of that, I got smart and moved to Tampa to be with my kids and grand kids. I worked 16 yrs at SSG as a factory worker, then got my RN and had a wonderful 30 yr career. I retired in 2012, but wasn't used to making so little moola, so I got a job as an RN at Busch Gardens in the Health Dept. Love it! I am so blessed to be living the good life
In July, I was let go from Busch Gardens due to "cut backs." It was fun while it lasted, but I am just fine with not working.
School Story:

I wish I could go back and appreciate everything I had at AHHS. It really was a great school back then--even with Mr. Morrow! We had such a large class, I really didn't get to know a lot of kids I could have. It was a lot of fun, though.
I do remember crying my eyes out at the State Championship Basket Ball game when we lost!

I am so.so sorry to hear of Karen's passing.  She will be missed.  I'm so glad I got to be with her at our 50th Class Reunion.

So sorry to hear of Rick's passing.  One thing his obit didn't mention was his great sense of humor.  He could just look at you and make you laugh!  He had a way of making comments to the teachers and the whole class would crack up!  Econ class was a whoot!  Glad to see he had wonderful family, friends and activities in his life.  With sympathy,  Susan Antle
