Dianne M. Close Weinert, age 76, of Seminole, FL, Saginaw and Canadian Lakes, MI entered the kingdom of heaven January 17th, 2022 after a fierce battle with brain cancer. She was a retired Dental Hygienist with her Master’s Degree from Nova University. She volunteered at Heritage Village, Questers Club, and other organizations that helped the underserved. She had many hobbies such as golf, sewing, mentoring, and traveling. Dianne was predeceased by her parents, Ferdinand and Marjorie Close, her husband of almost 40 years, James C. Weinert, and her grandson, Arthur Fagen.
She is survived by her children, Cynthia Fagen (Don) of Fernandina Beach, Florida, Steven Smith (Sue) of Vassar, Michigan, and Christiane Conchiglia (Rick) of Largo, Florida; grandchildren, Rose, Joe, Tony, Connie, Kristen, Allison, and Kaitlyn; her special niece, Trina Close, and brothers; Brad Close (Ellen) of Lake, Michigan and Greg Close (Doncelia) of Clearwater, Florida.
The family will receive family and friends from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at 3241 Bradleyville Road, Vassar, Michigan 48768. A celebration of Dianne's life will begin at 12:00 p.m. with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Heritage Village or National Brain Tumor Society.
